Sunflowers is beautiful to me, in part, because it rings as a cry for help—a downcast spirit reaching for the heavens. It will continue to inspire people until the end of time.

Wonderful review and the book spiked my interest! Love the painting. Saw it years ago and it hit me in the heart. He was truly an amazing painter.
Those colors are heartbreaking as they are cheering when you know his story. We have such great people in history!
