I am enthralled by your articles! I actually began reading about Jane Austen this morning and ended up working backwards to Louisa May Alcott and know I must now emerge from this rabbit hole of fascinating historical ‘Input’ (for today - as I will return tomorrow) and schedule time to ‘output.’

Speaking of ‘output’ - my Truth Of The Day is going to be a phrase I loved and copied from you.

Thank you so much for your work!

If I were not disciplined, I would still be down that rabbit hole, burrowing my way through all your wonderful articles. (Sigh)

Learning more about the behind-the-scenes lives of famous authors is, interestingly, giving me courage and helping me gain clarity as I strive to desperately finish my own novel—five interconnected novellas, all inspired by strong characters in my family. Thank you for this wonderfully written article.

I so enjoyed reading your post about May Alcott! It was so interesting to learn more about her life as I have never really read much about her before. It is so sad that she died so young, but like she said "I have had as much happiness in this short time as many [have had] in twenty years.” Thank you for sharing! 😊🤍
