Interesting summary. There are those who believe the preface was written by Percy, however.

Yes I just remembered that and it slipped my mind to mention in this essay; perhaps in the next I will find a footnote to amend it!

Excellent; I believe that I read some of this elsewhere.

Just way general here, but I think the book is a fantastic story, read it multiple times. 5/5

I loved the scene in the cabin with Gene Hackman interacting with The Monster in Young Frankenstein.

Gene Wilder is Dr. Frankenstein; Gene Hackman plays a blind man in a cabin somewhere and Frankenstein comes in for some soup and a cigar.

Interesting idea of a "Top of the Page" person for the month! Writing about and around one person through several articles can be very rewarding, I suppose. I haven't tried it, but now I am eager to do so – about a person or some other theme.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Your article is great, btw., with a good flow and I really like your voice and tone. Will definitely come back to check your other articles.

Interesting. I look forward to this series! Mary Shelley is the queen of goth lit for me. A complicated yet interesting figure in history. I really enjoyed your writing style btw, kept me engaged throughout.

Fascinating stuff; thank you.

The past several years, I seem to have become more interested in authors rather than merely their work.
