Love a deep dive on Jane Austen! And I love your ending about the importance of putting your art out there - thank goodness jane Austen did before her death!

As always, there is so much research and ‘heart’ in your article 💛 This is what I love about your posts—a personal touch! :) The writing is simple yet lyrical. Well done!

I remember being pleasantly engaged by Austen’s works when I first picked them up as required reading back in high school. I confess I never thought much about the author, but you’ve brought Jane Austen to life and ignited my interest in her as a fellow artist.

You have inspired me to re-read, yet again, Jane Austen’s oeuvre.

This is really interesting material on a subject I know embarrassingly little about. It puts me in mind of other writers who died before knowing how much their work would soon be admired (John Kennedy Toole came straight to mind). Yet Jane Austen is in a different league: evidently, it's not just that her work is admired, but she herself seems to be loved almost more than any other writer one can name. You drive me back to my bookshelf: I must check this out!
